March 10, 2023

The Law Office of Baker, Burton & Lundy, P.C. is proud to announce that transactional attorney Brian Triplitt Selogie has been named a partner at the firm.

An experienced lawyer, Brian joined Baker, Burton & Lundy’s transactional practice team in 2020. He now represents clients ranging from local individuals and families to multinational corporations on an array of matters, with a focus on real estate and business transactions, as well as entity formation and compliance.

Through his diversity of experience in life and the law, Brian negotiates transactions from a unique perspective. “Brian’s prior litigation experience gives him a valuable advantage in negotiating and drafting agreements to assist our clients in avoiding the pitfalls that can often lead to legal disputes,” said Kent Burton, founding partner of Baker, Burton & Lundy. “Brian understands the obstacles before our transactional clients and uses thoughtful and precise writing to draft the documents they need,” Burton added.

Brian approaches his legal practice with integrity, enthusiasm, and a commitment to excellence. He has great respect for civility between attorneys and often emerges from negotiations with opposing attorneys as new colleagues and friends.

Brian is a South Bay native, an alumnus of the University of Southern California, and a proud father of two children, Charlie and Tripp. A dedicated athlete, he has competed multiple times in the Catalina Classic, a grueling 32-mile open ocean paddleboard race between Catalina Island and the Manhattan Beach Pier. Always seeking new challenges, he has recently joined the Lanakila Outrigger Canoe Club, where he plans to compete in outrigger races along the coasts of California and Hawaii.  Learn more about Brian in his bio here.
