The Law Office of Baker, Burton, & Lundy is very proud to take part in the Boards Across Hermosa project this spring hosted by Leadership Hermosa Beach which has been working to foster community leadership since 2003. This year local Hermosa residents were asked to donate surfboards that would be painted by local artists. Over 80 artists took part, and their work is currently displayed at businesses across town, including Baker, Burton, & Lundy. 

The board displayed at Baker, Burton, & Lundy is titled “Beach Views” and was painted by Jennifer & Justin Mars of Sawdust & Butterflies, a local husband and wife art/construction team. The piece is a great example of the beach and lunar themed art they love to create. 

The surfboards make incredibly unique pieces of art, and will be auctioned off at the Hermosa Beach Fiesta this Memorial Day weekend. Proceeds from the auctions will go to the artists involved in the project. To bid on the “Beach Views” board displayed at Baker, Burton & Lundy at 515 Pier Avenue in Hermosa Beach, click this link. Leadership Hermosa Beach has a map showing the locations of all the surfboards displayed through Hermosa Beach and they also have a social media contest, offering prizes for people who take selfies with the boards and post them on social media. BB&L has donated a Free Notarization and a $50 gift certificate to our neighbor Source Cafe.  If you are local, come by and take a picture with the board at Baker, Burton & Lundy!
